'When you get to be Captain, you get to wear long pants.' Juliet Mills is Julie's friend. (They know each other somehow. You know, just for plot convenience.) Juliet has multiple fiances. Oops. Well, that kind of thing tends to happen on The Love Boat. Sylvia Sidney (Beetlejuice) is trying to set her son up with the girl back home. He might have his eyes on the girls here. In fact, he meets a girl he went to camp with. What will mom think of her? Joanna Pettet is back. This time, she's Blenderman, a customs agent, and Gopher's enemy. Gopher enacts mock seppeku. I'm going to be a little nice on this rather standard episode, just because I like Pettet and her American accent. The "nurse" really looks like a young Kim Greist. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 2 1/2 * out of a possible 4 *.
