Larry Hagman directs for the third and final time
kevinolzak1 November 2016
"Jeannie and the Great Bank Robbery" opens with Tony literally chained to his desk with work, so Jeannie has no choice but to look for someone else to help. Unfortunately, the duo of Milton (Severn Darden) and Girard (Mike Mazurki) just happen to be in need of an accomplice for a bank robbery, driving Tony's car no less. Jeannie walks out with $4000, the car ends up back in front of Major Nelson's house, and Dr. Bellows hopes that Tony is not involved. Jeannie's trusting nature, and ability to get inside the bank, are enough for Milton and Girard to perpetrate a more thorough job, this time with Tony trying to keep things from spiraling out of control. The third and final episode directed by Larry Hagman himself (following "There Goes the Bride" and "The Birds and the Bees Bit"), Major Healey again missing in action.
