Seen at the scene
bkoganbing4 December 2014
Young Andy Parks is Billy Jim Hawkins client in this Hawkins murder mystery. It seems as though he's fallen for a dancer with a bad drug habit. She dies in a most grisly fashion. Knifed and then her hotel room set on fire. Parks is seen at the scene by one of the maids in the hotel. She's not likely to forget as Parks is the son of the owner Signe Hasso. Who was once involved with Billy Jim Hawkins.

This is the situation that Jimmy Stewart is handed as Hasso and her husband Albert Paulsen hire him to defend Parks. There's also a nice group of eccentric guests, craziest of all is Jeff Corey who refuses to leave his room, just like Ambrose Monk.

One of the more inferior Hawkins stories since I could see the guilty ones a mile away here.
