love stories that would irate PC police

Warning: Spoilers
Not the best episode but if your going to watch a fantasy island episode with love stories that are predictable, not bad.

First story was this Nerdy lady with brown hair and glasses that i thought was a Sally Field. It was apparently Markie Post who i remember from night court. She was a nerd in college and wanted to bring back friends who mocked her to shove it in their faces that she is supporting this trip, though she is really poor and has a check book of 803 dollars (but afforded fantasy island). So of course, Rourke redoes her look. That involves more poofy 80's blond hair, that brown haired me found insulting, and loosing her big nerdy glasses, (surprise) . then he gave her a necklace that will make her believe in herself and give her confidence (one that i groaned about and said, she will loose it but realize it was in her all the time or some crap like that). So Cybill Shepherd is one of her friend and looks freaking hot back then, and is married to the guy who is super smooth, he was the smooth talking rich guy and robot evil imitation in one of my favorite fantasy island episodes. i like htat guy. So he is into Markie Post and they do it, though Rourke tries to Vag block it, then they walk arm and arm down stairs in front of her friends, and Cybill Shephard seems to be suspicious cause you know, its her husband and he was missing for a few hours. Then Cybill Shephard tells her , shes like 'i know you brought us to this island to rub it in our faces that you are rich and this and that" then she is surprised a minute later about the same thing, it was confusing. Then everyone is hurt, Markie sees Cybill Crying over her cheating husband, they hug, I'm like "kiss kiss" but they don't, then she gives Cybill her necklace so she can get the confidence to win her cheating husband back. This makes Markies hair brown again, the horror. So Cybill gets her scumbag husband back (damn that guy is smooth, didn't i tell you) and Markie leaves with a new found attitude, brown hair and gets to keep the contact lenses.

Other is about this really good African American jazz type singer who wants to go to 1925 which he believes is his time cause in 1983 music breaks weren't based on talent but who you know (and in 2016 how good you look, screw talent). SO he goes back to 1925. they didn't mention it but he was like one of the few black guys who didn't have ridiculously straighted out hair that looked wig like. Appantly their was racial prejudice back then and he would have to do waiter work at the mob owned music hall for a few years before his big break. Then the place is shot up by Lucky Luciano, then the radio station still wants to do a show from there the next day , one he knows from history that will be big and give everyone their big break. but the mob guys like no way, and he talks him into it but at a heavy price, if it doestn work or LUcky LUsioano makes fun of him for it, he will kill the jazz singer. so he falls in love, gets the ladies spot for the show cause she wont succumb to the one guys sexual advances, and I'm just sitting there yelling , "you can do a duet" and they eventually do, then the jazz guy has to go back to his time, i guess abandoning the 1925 lady but apparently her oncoming success will make up for that. seems superficial. then it turns out the mobster was some dude having a fantasy and hes from San Fran and has a club and is looking for a singer. THat makes the Jazz guy happy, though i question where he has to move from to uproot to San Fran.
