Daniel Sayres....a real butthead!
planktonrules28 September 2020
When the story begins, an Air Force Major is being confronted by his brand new bride. While you can understand her concerns, it is surprising she'd confront him when they are alone. After all, the man COULD be evil...which, it turns out, he is! He soon strangles her...leaving her body on the beach. Why did he kill her? Well, it seems she was sent a telegram saying that her new husband was NOT in the Air Force and is a con man named Daniel Sayres!

Sayres leaves the body in Oregon and soon is in Utah...about to begin a new chapter in his life. Like the previous one, it involves romancing a rich young woman in order to take her for all she has. And, he finds one at the local country club. The question now is can the F.B.I. catch up to him before he kills this one and/or robs her.

It was interesting seeing Chad Everett playing this awful person. Normally, folks of my generation see him as the nice doctor from "Medical Center"...not a conniving killer. This was enjoyable to see. In fact, I originally was going to give this one an 8 or 9 but knocked it down because TWICE folks learn the truth about him BUT confront him with no witnesses! This seems unlikely...especially twice.
