This guy is stupider than a zucchini!

Warning: Spoilers
This is an interesting episode about credit card fraud at a California department store chain. During an audit, they have noticed about $100,000 worth of merchandise that has just "disappeared". Eventually, they realize that the way the things were stolen was that items were bought with fake credit cards and the sales receipts were deliberately destroyed--leaving no trail. Then, the mastermind behind this scheme would keep some of the stolen items and sell other items so that he could live like a king. What makes this all so interesting is that the guy is in some ways pretty bright to come up with such a scheme but also a total idiot to be so arrogant and assume that he was too smart and too clever to be caught!

Overall, interesting and worth seeing. More importantly, unlike the first 3/4 of season 3, this one involved actual field work--not community relations or police morale.

Under rated Chanin Hale shines here.

Always a treat to see Chanin Hale in a roll that shows she was a "Classy Broad". She was a favorite of mine along with Barbara Nichols, Joyce Jameson and Gloria LeRoy who never seemed to get the screen time they deserved. This episode is one where she makes the others appear to be invisable including Eisley's arrogant and stupid character. Also, does anyone know the name of the beautiful blonde mentioned in the show by Chanin as "Too Beautiful" and only shows up at the end of the episode. Seems that she would be known from other shows, movies or modeling work if she continued in the business and wasn't just an extra.
