When Suzanne shows her feelings, it's painful.

Warning: Spoilers
While it was obvious that Delta Burke had put on a little bit of weight between seasons three and four, it wasn't enough for her to be called fat. Certainly, the change of hairstyle wasn't as flattering, but to hear her high school classmates talk about her, you'd think she was ready for a side show. The fact that Suzanne was considered the most beautiful girl in her class certainly would be noticeable when those looks changed, but the cruelty of her classmates here is unacceptable, especially the drunk who asks her for her current bra size. Fortunately, a true gentleman she has danced with is there to put him in his place.

The most touching moment comes when Suzanne meets a young boy from Ethiopia who thinks she's pretty, getting Suzanne to wake up to the real issues. Get the kleenex ready for that moment and her speech at the end, after Julia has spoken to her. When Suzanne gets the award for the most changed, it's not encouraging for the viewers to go to their high school reunion, but her speech is beautiful, and certainly Burke at her best. Now that's change, as well as sitcom excellence.
