Homosexual history and lesbian lingo, all part of the gay 90's when Suzanne discovers that her old pageant pal Eugenia Weeks (Karen Kopins) is a lesbian and is scared of what people will think. Suzanne may be a diva that gay men look up to, but that never stopped her flapping lips from saying things that might be construed as homophobic.
In this episode, she learns a little something outside of her self centered world and even begins to understand Eugenia's issues, especially when an old woman in the gym makes a nasty remark. The other women, while quite liberal, discover their own insecurities as well, with Anthony the only one who seems to have no issues with the truth. Quite groundbreaking, although a similar "Golden Girls" covered the same themes.
