Of course, I'm biased as Rev. Wm J. Hyde was my great-grandfather. This short film was derived from his autobiography and represents a couple (unrelated) elements from his book. The title of his book as well as this film("Dig or Die, Brother Hyde") was a quote my grandfather's mentor said to him as he boarded a train to the untamed and barely settled Dakota Territory in America (he originally was from Canada). He ended up establishing and preaching in Methodist churches in (what became) South Dakota, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. After my Mother made a comment in passing that there was such a film, I finally found this film (5 years ago or so), and it was beautiful to find and watch.
