The biggest question-mark I had was right in the beginning when Muldoon announces that Toody will be the new treasurer of the police Brotherhood Club. The guys go ballistic; the imbecile Toody in charge of our money? No way! That money - about $800-900 - is going to be used to help disadvantaged kids in the neighborhood. The guys had chipped in here and there for years to build it up.
Well, if everyone thinks that Toody is the worst choice as treasurer, why was he "elected?" That makes no sense.
Whatever, you just know Guenther is going to blow the first easy assignment: take the cash and put it in the bank. That's all. But once Guenther's strange brain starts to work......trouble begins! The surprise is that the real victims of Toody's blundering is not the police, or the kids, or the bank.....it's a huge company, led by "C.F. Cartwright," portrayed sympathetically by John Alexander.
How all that happens, you'll have to watch but it's another of these shows in which one small thing leads to a bigger thing and then...on and on, until it's a big deal.
