I usually love Bonanza comic episodes, but this one sadly bordered on the silly as
opposed to the funny. Still an episode with Wally Cox bears looking at,
Hoss has really done it this time. He bought a gold detecting machine to help his friend Paul Fix out of one. Fix will have to sell his played out mine to Kelly Thordsen if Hoss can't detect unmined gold left around.
The inventor comes with this machine, Wally Cox playing one of his patented milquetoast characters.
What's silliest about this whole thing is Thordsen actually worrying weather this Rube GOLDberg contraption actually works. If it wasn't for that there would be no story.
