Ted Roach has set up a sting to catch someone who is using the free ads section to attack and rob single women, Martella isn't happy with arrangements. Meanwhile Reg is looking for info for the Sun Hill paper.
I enjoyed this, it's a good episode, with several small stories happening all at once. It's very well played out, quite often you think something is about to kick off, and something mundane happens, but there is a dramatic ending.
It seems that every case Ted is on sees him sailing very close to the wind, one of these days he is surely going to come a cropper.
It's funny watching this now, these days we have eBay, Marketplace and a myriad of other choices, free ads now seems archaic.
Eddie Marsan pops up, as well as a gorgeous young Colin Buchanan, years prior to Dalziel and Pascoe.
Quinnan's baseball jacket is fantastic!
A good, solid episode, 7/10.
