"Bahnhofsbaby" is an interesting story: the sister of Leo Kress and her husband have adopted 18 years ago a boy called Karsten, but tey didn't tell him about the circumstances of this adoption.One day Karsten is at the college and receives an envelope with newspapers clippings.Angry and desperate Karsten leaves Stuttgart and goes to Munich where he meets his uncle Leo Kress and now wants to find Helga Dorsch ,his biological mother.Leo Kress tries to calm the young adolescent, but Karsten escapes and finally finds his mother who now manages a massage parlour.In the night someby kills his mother and Karsten escapes because he is afraid to be accused of the murder.Then begins a complicated investigation: who was the woman who gave Karsten the envelope ? Why did somebody kill Helga Dorsch ? The main character of this story, Karsten Winterberg is played by a young actor, Thomas Kretschmann ,born in 1962 in Dessau , he began to play in films and series in 1985; later his career will groW and he will become famous: U-571 (2000), The Pianist (2002), King King (2005), Wanted (2008),Der Seewolf (2008): it was a pleasure to see him as young actor, also I have seen him in two episodes of the German series "Derrick".
