Keen to show that The Occupying Forces have cemented warm relations with the locals, Von Klinkerhoffen insists that The Spirit of Nouvion should marry Captain Bertorelli.
It is a funny episode, it perhaps doesn't have the big moment, and there are several moments that have been done before, several times, but on the whole it's quite a funny, absurd watch.
Once again, there is some real quality from Arthur Bostrom, his delivery is once again excellent. Madame Fanny also provided a good few laughs.
I want to know why General von Klinkerhoffen is all of a sudden so keen on Franco-German relations, his main mission seems to be to show that there are no hostilities.
Madame Edith so wanted to be The Spirit of Nouvion, here she gets more than she bargained for.
7/10.
