This amazing short was directed and shot better than any other short that I have ever seen. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire film. The music was composed by a very talented up and coming composer specifically for the film. The story traces the incredible life of a cigarette lighter as it passes through the hands of a wide range of characters who are all connected through this common object. As the story progresses the fluid level of the lighter diminishes as a kind of chronological time line. In one particular scene during a warehouse shoot out, more people are killed in 2 minutes than any short film in history. The characters include mobsters, rednecks, cops, drug dealers, hookers, and cult members. Expect this film so have incredible success on the festival circuit, after its opening at The Santa Barbara Film Festival. If you have the chance to see this film, don't pass it up.
