We suspect that this offering was meant for a comedy, but there was no laughter at all. It seemed pretty bare of amusement to us. There is a story, but this, if the producer wanted to depend upon it, is lamed by his attempts at fun which didn't get over. - The Moving Picture World, October 11, 1913
