This 28 minute documentary is basically an interview with exploitation producer David F. Friedman who looks back over his career talking about the genre. If you're unfamiliar with the genre as a whole then this interview really gives you a first-hand report on the entire business from the early days with films like REEFER MADNESS all the way up to the type of nudie flicks that Friedman was turning out. There's no question that fans of the genre are going to want to check this out because Friedman is really a seller and manages to tell these stories with some real joy. He talks about how he got into the business but he also goes into detail about how it actually worked. Everything from the distribution rights to the various theaters that wanted these types of pictures are explored. We also gets clips from various movies but also trailer and intermission promos. Fans of exploitation will certainly want to check this one out.
