I came across this show a few years ago on BBC4, Unfortunately it was never released upon VHS or DVD, and it just blew me away.

I somewhat empathise with Demetri having minor compulsions myself and totally understand where he's coming from. This feels more like a motivational lecture than a stand-up and really made me think about myself.

I was astounded by his own genius and strangely impressed by his "useless talents" such as pen spinning, juggling and riding a unicycle. His use of mediums throughout the show really help draw attention and the overall structure of the show seemed to flow seamlessly without me ever wanting it to end.

Hilariously funny and thought out. Reminded me a lot of the style of Dave Gorman and i cannot praise this show enough, if you ever get the chance to see it please do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed.

Get in the back, humor...it's talking time.

Let me say this...you will probably laugh watching this. Let me also say this...even if you don't, this is still worth watching beyond all measure.

Demetri Martin uses humor as a bridge between himself and the audience, in order to connect with them to tell about his life and philosophies. He covers a very big issue, and does so with great charisma.

If you aren't looking to think, or examine yourself while watching this, pass it up for some of his other comedy; but that's not the intent of this film, and to call it a "stand-up" would be a great disservice to it.

Sit down...watch it...and thank me.

Wow! Demetri is great even in 2004! Its very, just, uh... Interesting? If you are wondering, you can easily find this on Youtube since there was no DVD or VHS or anything like that.
