A beautifully moving film.

Honest and direct. Not only a fascinating look into the little known world of bullfighting, but a really touching film about a man who is fighting with his personal demons and searching for some meaning in his world. In this film you see a diverse group of people, all with different motivation, study the art of bullfighting. You see what it takes to get in the ring with one of those bulls and how frightening, yet beautiful, it can be. It's really interesting to see how the world of bullfighting works, but the real story here is much more personal. Alex LeMay's desire to bullfight is connected to his life in a deep and intimate way. As the film progresses we are drawn into his life and past and are witness to a unique and beautiful story of a man searching not only for redemption but a connection to his world and those in it.
