- The monster herself is scary. She has long hair that covers her face and rotten teeth. The scariest moment is when the mother hears a noise outside her son's room. She goes out to the hall to check, suddenly, from the mother's POV, the monster runs up the stairs and right to the camera, all done with sped up editing and loud noises.
