Best NZ comedy in years
redmunds16 July 2007
It's great to see Facelift back on TV, it seems to get better and better with every series. The show is brilliantly written, highly topical and very well-acted too.

In the fourth series, the old reliable characters including John Campbell, Mark Sainsbury and Helen Clark have returned again, and have been joined by new National leader John Key, and there have also been appearances by Paul Henry and David Bain.

My only complaint is that now that Don Brash has resigned as National Party leader he will no longer be seen on the show! Facelift is brilliant political satire, and although many of the jokes wouldn't be understood by non-New Zealanders the show is so good (in my opinion the best New Zealand comedy in many years, if not ever) that I highly recommend it to everyone.
