I remember renting this game from the rental store when I was about 8, not long after Robots first came out on DVD and I'm not sure if I was just a stupid kid who liked anything that I saw or played, or maybe this actually was a really good game because I remember I couldn't put the thing down when I started playing it
It had a very Ratchet and Clank style to it since you had to collect scrap metal for your metal launcher and it had a pretty big world too with lots of pretty expansive and impressive stages with some really good elements of platforming. I also remember it was also pretty challenging and that I spent almost an entire week to get up to the Crosstown Express hub transport system that linked you up to even more expansive levels, it was a pretty long buildup to that point and I felt such a sense of achievement when I got up to it, then I had to return it, and I've never played it since
Maybe it's just that memory of playing it that has lingered with me for such a long time, but i really did have a good experience with it, and maybe one day I'll come across it again and play it again one day to know for sure.
