Johnny test certainly one of those shows am I right? But anyway johnny test I actually thought the first season of the show was actually pretty decent i mean not the best thing to exist but I thought it was something it had great characters outstanding voice acting and good animation, the second season was average id say its not as good as season one was but it was alright. But as the show moved forward it became more annoying and may i say fast paste. You may notice a few things when comparing the older episodes and the newer episodes and that is the quality of the animation the animation went from good and hand drawn to bland and mediocre flash animation in season 3, and the voice acting became noticeably annoying (particularly for Johnny himself) and lackluster compared to earlier episodes. The plots for some episodes in later seasons can be dumbed down at times and generic. The last thing bad I have to say about the newer seasons is its paste the show moves way to fast at times not giving you a break of silence. But now ima go over some things the new seasons do good. One thing is the character designs most of them do stay the same as they were in season one, and there are some genuinely funny moments in the newer episodes and as said earlier the show was good in its first two seasons, they do change up the episode plots at times to be much more creative. I don't think the whole is the worst I have ever seen, then again I enjoyed seasons 1, 2, & 3 (somewhat) of this show. So I would give this show nothing higher than a 7, but nothing lower than a 6.

I'm stunned to see a show as bad as Johnny Test hasn't been given the ax like it should have been years ago. It's not only one of the worst cartoons to ever hit the air, but is also one of the biggest rip offs of all time. The show centers around the Test family(What kind of last name is Test anyway?), in particular on Johnny, a "cool" 11 year old kid who is often subjugated to experiments by his twin sisters, Susan and Mary, in their laboratory. Throughout the way, Johnny, his sisters, and his talking dog, Dukey, have to deal with crazed villains and other adventures. The premise doesn't sound that bad, but after you see how it's handled, you'll be wishing this show would be canceled.

If you watch this show, you'll quickly realize how much this show looks like Genndy Tartakovsky's hit show, Dexter's Laboratory. I don't mean it rips it off a little, it rips it off almost point for point. From the whole idea of the secret lab by the sisters, to most of the character designs, and to how some of the characters act, you'll know this is nothing more then a cheap clone of Dexter's Laboratory. Unlike that show though, this one here goes and scrapes the bottom of the barrel and is nothing like the beloved Dexter's Laboratory.

If there is one word I could describe Johnny Test, it would be repetitive. Everything in this show is so repetitive and monotonous. The plots are downright recycled and all pretty much play out the same way. Johnny wants something, Johnny gets his sisters help using one of his sisters inventions, Johnny misuses the invention, something goes horribly wrong, Johnny has to fix the mess with his sisters and dog, and Johnny admits he's wrong and says he's sorry and will never do it again. Rinse, recycle, and repeat and you got this show in a nutshell. Very rarely, and I mean in a blue moon, will you see some two-parter episode, but even then those are recycled. It's not just the plots though, it's pretty much everything else. All the jokes are repeated and are NEVER funny at all, especially that "Whoa, didn't see that coming" joke. The same dialogue is used from time to time in other episodes. Even the same sound effects and zooming in of the camera when a character freaks out is overdone.

The characters themselves are awful, especially our so called "hero", Johnny. He claims to be some cool kid, but in reality he is a selfish, arrogant, jerk who thinks he's better then everyone else. He constantly disobeys his own family, he'll blackmail someone into doing something for him, he steals the invention his sisters made when they refuse to give it to him, and will use puppy eyes to get what he wants. He's NOT cool at all, this kid is a blackmailer, whiner, and thief. The other characters are no better at all. Not only do some of them steal character designs from Dexter's Laboratory(like Susan and Mary looking like Dexter), but they are just annoying and irritating characters that are unlikable and are forgettable. Even the villains are God awful. Bling Bling Boy is nothing more then a Mandark wannabe and acts like a complete idiot most of the time. Brain Freezer makes constant ice puns that could make Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mr. Freeze from Batman and Robin look like the one from Batman: TAS. None of these characters are likable, much less are they really interesting and cool.

The artwork and animation is another issue worth gripping about. While the set designs are mediocre at best, they all look unimaginable and may even be ripped off from other cartoons, but considering this show and how much it rips off Dexter's Laboratory, that should be no surprised. The animation is just dreadful though and is horrible in almost every way. The characters move in such an awkward way that it looks like they all have arthritis or something and lip syncs seem to be off in almost every scene.

I can't recommend this show to anyone at all and urge everyone to stay away from this God awful piece of garbage. Everything in this show is so repetitive from the jokes, to the writing, and to the plots. The characters, especially Johnny, are awful nor are they likable in any way, shape, or form. The artwork is awful and the animation looks very poorly done. I don't know why Cartoon Network is still letting this show air and giving it new episodes, but I hope somebody there finally realizes how bad this show is and give it the ax. In the meantime though, do yourself a favor and avoid this show at all costs.

I want so badly to give this piece of GARBAGE a zero, unfortunately, there isn't, so, I had to give it a 1 just to warn you about how stupidly terrible this imposter of a familiar cartoon really is! The characters look like they were drawn by pre-schoolers, no, wait, I've seen pre-schoolers do better! I prefer "Misadventures of Flapjack" to this terrible excuse for a cartoon! I'm probably saying what others have said, two words: RIP OFF!! Remember that episode of Dexter's Lab when they raced go-karts down that volcano? yeah, Mister Fellows even cashed in on that idea and failed! They even ripped off Shadow Lugia in that one episode that parodied Pokemon!(he even cashed in on that franchise!) That one character is a cheap rip off of Mandark from Dexter's Lab! Mister Fellows needs to be sued for statutory infringement for this piece of crap!! Everyone has their own opinion, but those of you who like Johnny (RIP-OFF) Test, your'e just lying to yourselves. Do yourself a favor, change the channel when this rip off tries to disgrace your screen!

When i watched this show when i was little, my parents wouldn't let me. however, im watching it now and i think its funny, in the end there is a certain moral, more or less. I don't think i would let kids under 10 watch it, because several times, the parents show there disliking of their kids. But usually it turns out OK in the end.

I love the ongoing battles between jhonny and B.B. Boy. I have never watched jimmy neutron, because i thought it was dumb. I have never seen jhonny quest, either. but even if jhonny test is a combination, I think that jhonny test turned out alright. Although most of cartoon networks shows suck so bad, i think jhonny test turned out the best.

My brother is in love with this show, let's get this straight. I completely agree with the people who said it was copying off of Dexter's Lab and Fairly Odd Parents.

I've never really liked fairly odd parents, I mean, some things did make me laugh, but most of the time it's downright annoying and not cute at all. This is almost the same way I feel about Johnny Test. Except, NOTHING makes me laugh on that show. The gags are so stupid and pointless, and to tell you the truth, maybe it's just me, but kids don't DRESS like that! Yes, I do think Johnny's hair is awesome, but c'Mon!

And Dexter's Lab, that used to be one of my favorite shows and I still don't mind watching it. Which makes me disgusted and ashamed of Johnny Test making an absolute JOKE out of that wonderful show!

One more thing. The. Dog. Is. So. Annoying. He is more loud and obnoxious than Johnny! And the gay accent? What the fudge! I hate the dog to death and I hope he dies, because that would be better for kids to see than listening and watching the obnoxious crap that goes on in that show, and picking up a gay accent.

Unless you want you eyeballs to burn into miraculous flames and your brain fried from this show, don't watch it!

Like many other reviewers said, this is a horrible show and it's a mystery how it lasted so long, considering that it doesn't have any single good redeeming quality: The characters are dumb, unlikeable and irritating, the stories are boring, the jokes aren't funny, the jokes and cultural references are lame and uninspired, the animation style is awful, while the characters designs are incredibly ugly as well (The art from this series is basically a cheap imitation of Genndy Tartakovsky's style, but lacking the charm and stylish appeal that shows like "Dexter's Laboratory" and "Samurai Jack" had)

"Johnny Test" could be easily the nadir of Cartoon Network programming. Not even dreadful shows like "My Gym Partner's a Monkey" or "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi" were as bad as this. I think not even "Mad" (A painfully series which I loathe) was as bad as this one.
