Sex & Nudity

  • At the end of a scene where two doctors talk about malnutrition, the camera pans up the body of a naked female baby. (See Frightening & Intense)

Violence & Gore

  • An extended scene near end of the documentary shows footage from confrontations between civilians and police. Near the start, a bloody man is carried off by other civilians. The scene becomes more and more bloody and violent.
  • The director mentions that several years ago he received six bullet wounds in the leg for speaking out against the government corruption. No violence or anything is seen.

Profanity

  • Some boys are shown with raised middle fingers (the image on the movie poster), both in the opening montage and in the second half of the film.
  • During the violent confrontation scene, there is a rap song that alludes to something entering into the enemy's anus.

  • The naked baby at the end of the malnutrition scene is an emotionally disturbing image. She looks painfully underfed and is opening her mouth as if in agony.
  • The whole documentary is emotionally traumatic as the viewer "watches" the Argentine government disregard its people with increasing injustice and violent results.
