I saw this on Sundance channel and it is one of those films that left me not sure what I thought of it. Another reviewer "cried with laughter" which to me certainly seems to be a review of a different film. This one, despite a few ironic and blackly humorous lines, is tense and strained throughout. One is not quite sure where it is going.
The entire film is shot in one room, crowded with various actors. They all appeared to do a good job. Keone Young as Pol Pot seemed very much the pompous and imperial leader.
The end was, in my opinion, disappointing. Still, it was worth the 10 minutes of time invested.
