Chip McCuiston should be "Oscar" McCuiston
krlorenz5 June 2004
Not only is this one of the best movies of 2003, perhaps the best actor of the new millennium sends his star to the heavens in an understated, complex, and breathtaking role. Chip McCuiston's acting ability and "assets" are on display throughout a large portion of the film, and all the audience wants is more. The best scene in the movie is Chip's naked romp through the forest, buttocks on display. Only an expert eye would notice that each ripple of butt cheek was perfectly choreographed by Chip to capture the mood and heartwrenching suspense of the scene. Fabulous. Chip, we can't wait to see you on 'Celebrities Uncensored.' This movie will forever change how movies about guys who play pranks in and around weddings will be made, like, forever.

porkys for the gay community

Proof that nudity, sexual misidentity, and pranks are not the formula for a decent film. Somewhere in the film I think dialogue, plot, and a basic ability to use a camera should come into play. In short anytime the extras are overacting its time to go back to the drawing board. Redeeming features... hmmmm... well the emma gibbs band and the something stew ... can't remember the name of that one... had a few decent songs mixed in. Overall my problem with the movie can be summed up by the fact that this film was meant to be made for the lesbian and gay community and to promote understanding ... HOWEVER when I viewed it I was thinking of the obviously over the top black face performances of the twenties. This film highlighted and expanded upon the very stereotypes that it should have been fighting against.
