- The theme of the whole film is about a famous musician who becomes addicted to heroin. Lots of heavy heroin use and drug dealing. In one scene, a man asks his father to inject him with the heroin and you see it taking effect on him once it's in his system. Also lots of smoking and implied alcohol use.

- The drug theme of the whole movie is very explicit and may be disturbing for some viewers. The scenes where the couple is fighting is also very intense and upsetting. It might also be found distressing when the main character becomes homeless and moves into a park with other heroin and various drug addicts.
