I thought this TV special was well done. I have long been wondering whether this special aired in 1983 or 1984, and on what date and month of which year that it aired. I would appreciate it if you could find and include that info!

Really you have to feel for poor Danny there. And how that he was trying to explain things to his teacher, dad, and the other kids.
But the sad part is that they did not want to listen. Until his sympathetic mom, a teaching assistant, and his only friend ended up realizing that he needed to be helped out on it there.
NBC Special that was like the ABC Afterschool Special and CBS Schoolbreak Special on it. That sadly did not last that long. As wished that it could had in the lasting so long on it there.
As that over in the ABC Afterschool took the take there as wished the kids of these days would had watched these.
