This Sarah-intensive edition of the series, currently available titled SARAH YOUNG LIMITED EDITION 6 from distributor Mike Hunter, spotlights her wearing a creative hat, rather than merely the object of hubby Hans Moser's probing camera. Most of the footage has been excerpted and anthologized elsewhere, but this particular collection does provide fun behind-the-scenes (staged, of course) action.
In porn, there is the widespread assumption (and practice) of focusing strictly on the sex footage, and editing out, especially in reissues, the "extraneous" storyline or dramatic material. So it is fun to see the interstitial and often fascinating intros/build-ups and denouements, preserved for posterity in this collection.
First vignette begins with a lovely makeup girl (uncredited) touching up Sarah prior to shoot, with co-star Peter North comically feeling up Miss Young, interfering with the grooming process. Jon Dough stops by the set for a hug -he's up to bat later. All this brief interplay has been omitted from familiar later issues of the scene. It's a quality tag team bout, with North shtupping Sarah, interrupted a reel or two later by Dough's arrival, and then Dough doing the honors.
Sarah is literally the director in another vignette starring Sean Michaels. She interviews him, and he talks of a big sci-fi project he's planning (of course that is pure fiction -never happened), and they make love while waiting for a late arrival of his femme co-star. Maria does show up, and Sarah directs a porn video of the duo with Dough as her d.p. (that's director of photography, in this case). Later Dough joins in to double team Maria.
Young is also the director on screen, coaching her star Tabatha Cash for a threesome with Nick East and an unidentified guy. Thus, even though she is not the only actress having sex on screen, this video cleverly features Sarah in every sequence. Funniest, although I suspect inadvertent, is a whispered aside from Sarah to Dough, asking him to use a wide-angle shot to make sure he gets Sean's long dong in frame when latter is sodomizing Maria. Kubrick to Alcott couldn't have said it better.
