Stung by comments that age is making him look seedy, Edgar decides to invite an old beau of Vivian Oakland who, by reports, looks like a fat bum, for the weekend. When it turns out to be dapper Eddie Dunn, Edgar's jealousy grows ever worse in this entry of his long-running RKO comedy short series.
Guest comic Eddie Dunn had almost as long a career in the movies as Kennedy. He had begun with Vitagraph in the middle of the 1910s, and later appeared in several of Charley Chase's early talkie shorts, where his talents as a singer were exploited, and directed half a dozen in 1934. Although he never rose to the top ranks, he worked steadily through his death in 1951 in small roles, with appearances in almost 300 features and 100 short subjects.... and even a few TV episodes.
