- During the first half of the film, a battered, paraplegic prostitute lies in bed, vulnerable to the wrath of her former pimps. A woman is constantly looking out for her to ensure her safety. The woman regains her physical independence due to her fear of being abducted again.
- A woman recounts her traumatic transition into adulthood. She reveals that she was abducted and forced into sexual slavery as an adolescent; and was beaten and raped up to ten times a day.
