How to Begin? How could someone help this movie if it starts with an ULTRA CHEESY violent sequence? Del Castillo enters his home while his wife and son are eating a cake. He seems to be really mad, but no, he is supposedly drunk (hammered!). Then he proceeds to brutally beat his wife and slays her throat (apparently). Oh, the fake punch noises, the MUSIC! the opening titles... please, this is even worse than ultra low budget.
The movie continues with the young boy taking revenge on people who get on his way, followed by Jorge Reynoso; another action icon. We learn about the abuse that the wife and son suffered and that's it. You have a boring movie with HORRIBLE acting, music, direction. The script is mediocre... I mean, not even a soap opera is that bad. The abuse that the poor boy suffers is just too painful to watch; not because of the disturbing scenes, but the acting. The abusive uncle is just pathetic. I'm glad to say that the best actor of the movie is the young boy. Whatever happened to him?
Well, I know what most of you think : "if you don't watch it, don't criticize it". But as I have the right of opinion, I will say that the fact that Mèxico is my country, doesn't means that I have to SUPPORT this kind of crap. This is not even watchable for lovers of minus B-movies.
Please, stop supporting these kind of movies. Our cinema deserves much more.
