Good show, but not for everyone

This show is interesting from a historical perspective. It gives an insight into the life in the Balkans at the time, as well as the politics, as well as the dangerous culture of assassination in the Balkans, from monarchs to prime ministers that continues to this day.

If you want to learn about Serbian or Balkan history, it's a good show. But viewer beware, this shows production quality is Balkan TV quality, meaning, don't compare this to Golden Age productions, not to Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones, don't compare it to top British shows like Downton Abbey or Peaky Blinders, or Danish shows like Borgen and the Bridge.

This show's production standards are quite low, almost theatrical. It's almost like Turneja (2008) in quality.

Don't expect high quality Balkan cinema quality here. This is not like No Man's Land, Pretty Village Pretty Flame, Underground, etc.

I wouldn't even compare it to lower cost Balkan works like Kazi Zasto Me Ostavi or older films like The Battle of Neretva.

There's not a lot of money that went into this work and TV is considered second rate to cinema.

I would recommend many more Balkan films than any Balkan TV show.

Having that said, this show has one thing going for it that many others don't. It's based on a true story (with some alterations, obviously), so the writers couldn't mess that up.

Having said all that, I realize that there probably does not exist a subtitled version of this show.

In all cases, it's more a curiosity than a must watch.
