Great overall performance by Christopher Jaymes, (i.e. monologue about River Phoenix) worth seeing, good first time filmmaking by Mike Traina, all around worthwhile work, art direction, cinematography, acting, writing. Not necessarily a life changer but entertaining for the eyes and ears.

A Terrific Movie

Verses is a terrific new movie. I was lucky enough to have seen a rough cut, just before the film began touring the festival circuit, and was overjoyed at what I saw. The cast, led brilliantly by Christopher Jaymes, is superb, and the director, Mike Traina, does a fantastic job. Watch this one closely.
