Was the stage slippery? Many routines looked like the dancer was stopping herself from sliding around.

The dancers looked like they didn't practice much before filming. The singular blonde in the second act just kept looking down and she looked bored.

The men doing the comedy routine were eh. Rather boring.

Evelyn West's first single bit was hiccupy. Stating lines that are supposed to be humorous with no humor whatsoever.

And then I skipped around for the rest of it. I was entirely bored.

There are a lot of thing about this movie that seem pretty creaky 80ish years later, but Evelyn West's rack is timeless, and it's just charming to see this much skin in a movie from 1947.
