Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Mild violence, nothing explicit. Mostly limited to light hitting/slapping.

Profanity

  • The word "Hell" is used once, but this is more of a reference to the place. Bach is about to say a curse word at one point in the movie but his wife cuts him off (the latter scene is more in a joking light.)

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some characters are seen drinking and smoking cigars socially, but the behavior is not glorified. No one gets drunk or anything of the sort.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Bach comes off as a frightening character when first introduced, but he and Frederick quickly become friends. Back and Frederick are frequently in peril in the latter half of the movie, though no one is ever seriously injured or anything of the like.
