I saw the original version of this twice (When Women Wee) and it was brilliant. I laughed so much I almost cried and that is not an exaggeration. I was so disappointed with the film version, which I saw last night. They have totally ruined a great play that was produced written and directed by new upcoming artists. In order to try and make it appealing to a bigger audience they have taken away the heart and soul of the play. The acting was good but the humor was totally gone, I laughed twice in the one hour thirty minutes it was on for. Unfortunately whereas with When Women Wee I told everyone how great it was and that they should go see it. In all honesty I could not do the same with this, as it would be a waste of money.
