A truthful and typical post-perestrojka teenage story from Russia
fychika23 July 2002
The movie struck me as very realistic. It caught somehow the atmosphere of a big Russian city. Don't expect to see much of landscapes in this movie. It's all apartments, hallways, school classrooms, evening streets. The story rotates around one girl and her first experiences of love. The teenage actors are very natural. There is not much drama in the story but the viewer feels disturbed, nevertheless. The story is typical, unpretentious and that's the best thing about this film.
