- Thirteen-year-old Charlotte lies about her age and flirts with a 20-something guy, Jean. They hang out together and then later go on a date.
- A pair of older teens kiss passionately for a moment.
- There's some attention to physical development: the camera focuses on an adult woman's breasts in a locker room; the camera and conversation focus on a woman's panty lines visible through her pants; and Charlotte's dad mentions that her dress hides her "little boobies."
- A woman's breasts and butt are briefly visible in a locker room. There are fleeting glimpses of Charlotte's breasts while changing and of a woman's breasts on a magazine cover. An eight-year-old girl goes without a shirt occasionally, and shows her bare butt briefly while playing 1,2,3, Freeze.

Sex & Nudity
- Charlotte and Jean share a quick peck of a kiss. He caresses her face once or twice, but she does not reciprocate. They go on a date to the movies and to a bar, and he talks her into seeing his hotel room.
Violence & Gore
- In Jean's hotel room he attacks Charlotte, pinning her on the bed and kissing her despite her struggles. She scratches his face, hits him in the head with a glass globe, and escapes. Later she wonders whether that might have killed him.
