The networks' Fifth of July hangover ended Tuesday night, with all of the broadcasters save the CW showing a slight increase over last Tuesday's numbers, after viewing was down across-the-board on Monday night as people came back from the long weekend. Fox and won the night in adults 18-49 with a 3.1/10 rating and share for two hours of "Hell's Kitchen." NBC was in second in the demo with 2.7/8, but way ahead in total viewers, with 9.1 million to Fox's 6.8. ABC started the night well, as usual, with "Wipeout," then began to fall with "Downfall" and "Primetime: Family Secret"...

Bay Street's Fifth Of July begins previews Tuesday, July 6th through Friday, July 9th, with opening night Saturday, July 10th. The show runs Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, Sundays at 7pm, with matinees on Wednesdays at 2pm and Saturdays at 4pm except during preview week. On Tuesday, July 13th following the performance there will be a talkback with the actors. The show will close on Sunday, August 1st. Please note that this performance will contain partial nudity. Fifth Of July is a co-production with the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts, where it will move following its run at Bay Street. BroadwayWorld brings you a sneak peek below!

New York – Robin Wright and Richard Schiff will make their Broadway debut next season in a revival of Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning "Talley's Folly."Producers Phil Monat, T. Richard Fitzgerald and Randall L. Wreghitt announced Tuesday that the production will open in spring 2011 at a theater to be announced. Marshall Mason, who originally directed the play some 30 years ago, will direct. Mason also directed such Wilson plays as "Fifth of July" and "Angels Fall."Wright is best known for her roles in such films as "Forrest Gump," "The Princess Bride" and "Hurlyburly." "Listening" is the key to good acting, according to Helen Stenborg. Co-starring Off-Broadway at the DR2 Theatre in Morris Panych's "Vigil" gives her the chance to exercise that talent. This two-hander centers on the evolving relationship between a misanthropic young man (Malcolm Gets) and his dying, estranged aunt Grace (Stenborg), who barely speaks.While the 84-year-old Minneapolis native has never played a silent character before, her preparation for this part is basically the same as for any other. There is one major difference: She will not share certain elements of Grace's inner life with Gets or the director, Stephen Dimenna. "Sometimes they ask me, 'What are you thinking?' That's my secret. But it's interesting: If I change my thoughts, I'll get a different reaction from Malcolm." Celebrating its 40th Anniversary, The T. Schreiber Studio Company, headed by Artistic Director Terry Schreiber, will present Lanford Wilson's moving and often humorous play, Fifth of July, from May 14th through June 21st, Thursday through Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. The play will be open to the press beginning on Friday May 22nd. The play will be presented in The Gloria Maddox Theatre at T. Schreiber Studio at 151 West 26th Street, 7th Floor.
