Strike Force Three, a planned live show from Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon, has been canceled.
Kimmel contracted Covid ahead of the show and said that he could “never live with myself if I got my hometown friends sick”.
The show was planned for Saturday September 23.
Strike Force Five Three – the title is styled with the “five” crossed out, a play on the name of the podcast hosted by the trio as well as Seth Meyers and John Oliver – was set to take place at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Meyers and Oliver were not appearing.
The Vegas show would have marked the first time that Colbert, Fallon and Kimmel performed on stage together.
Proceeds from the show were set to go to out-of-work staffs from the late-night shows.

Welcome to Sales to Astonish, a new column in association with comics retailer The Unreality Store, in which Matthew De Monti brings us news on comic sales and the general moves in the comic market over the past month or so!
Following a busy last week of 2022 due to our email subscriber sale, to begin 2023 we decided to open up the 50 off sale to anyone who visited the website. Various announcements and posts were made on social media and the first ten days of January were the busiest we have been in our 2.5 years of trading. From variant covers and signed editions to graphic novels and roleplaying games we sold items from almost all areas of the store.
In terms of comics, we saw people buying long runs of issues like Grant Morrison’s epic Jla run, the critically acclaimed Strikeforce Morituri, X-Men, Hulk and Iron Man amongst others.

Robert Stack, the stentorian voice behind TV's Unsolved Mysteries and the original Eliot Ness in the `50s TV series The Untouchables, died Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles of heart failure; he was 84. Starting his film career in 1939 with First Love opposite Deanna Durbin, Stack made more than 40 films, including The Tarnished Angels, The Iron Glove, To Be or Not to Be, Bwana Devil, The High and the Mighty and Written on the Wind, for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 1956. Despite his prolific film career (punctuated in the `80s by a scene-stealing turn in the comedy Airplane!), Stack gained most of his fame through television, starting in 1959 with The Untouchables, where he won an won an Emmy award for his role as Chicago crimefighter Eliot Ness; other TV series included The Name of the Game, Most Wanted and Strike Force. In 1988, he began a longstanding run as the host of the syndicated series Unsolved Mysteries, which ran through the late `90s. Stack is survived by his wife Rosemarie, whom he married in 1956, and his two children, Elizabeth and Charles. --Prepared by IMDb staff...
