This is perhaps the strangest Christmas-themed animation I have ever seen, the kind of stuff an experimental filmmaker as Norman McLaren would deliver for holidays.
Of the three segments, my favorite one was the second one, with the toys. Sure, it was the weirdest one, and the one which has the least to do with Christmas, but I found it oddly charming despite its weirdness.
The first one, with the two cut-out kids dancing to Jingle Bells was charming too.
The third one was my least favorite, and is the one which takes the large majority of the short, but it had a couple of funny moments.
I do wonder if the inclusion of the live-action jester was really necessary, but whatever.
Merry Christmas!
