Newly minted taxi drivers Billy Gilbert, Clyde Cook, and Ben Blue are hired by Yola D'Avril to bring her trunks to a haunted house. Little do they know she's a diamond smuggler and the goods have been hidden on one of them.
It's an early entry in Hal Roach's TAXI BOYS series, and there's tremendous comic ability on display, if you ignore Ben Blue. Unfortunately,even though Cook was one of the great pratfallers, it's Blue who gets to do the tumbles. Gilbert does some of his sneezing routine, and there are the usual bumps and grinding automobiles under the practiced direction of Del Lord.
It's among the weakest of Roach's series, but it has its moments.
