A special two part picture play which is peculiar in its make-up, the development of which contains scenes that while such possibilities might occur in every day life, they are highly improbable. An insane physician is the cause of all the trouble. In some places in this picture the interest and suspense maintains, but at certain moments both lose their grasp upon the spectators. Self-sacrifice is strained to the limit. - The Moving Picture World, October 10, 1914
