Horatio is a seemingly normal young man on the surface. But, unlike most boys his age, he spends his days occupied by the thought of sawing off his right hand. Horatio suffers from Body Identity Integrity Disorder, a condition in which people seek to amputate appendages to make themselves feel "whole." He joins a group for people dealing with the affliction, and meets Sarah, a fellow BIID-sufferer. Both lives intertwine as the duo attempts to overcome their shared condition, but with twenty four hours in a day, impulse is at war with common sense......
