We are not powerless against the Goliath of the trophy hunting industry. Make no mistake; it is an "industry". The ocean is not a vast body of water; it is comprised of an infinite number of drops. We are all those drops. Together we form a mighty force that is becoming a tsunami that can no longer be ignored. Legislation is on the table right now in two continents to ban the import of trophy hunted species and to ban the captive breeding of exotic animals for white Western elites to slaughter for nothing more than pride, pleasure and profit. Other countries and carriers have already taken action but there is still a long way to go. This film reveals layer upon layer of complexity, financial interests, political interests, commercial interests, community interests and, let us not forget, the interest of those who want to save entire species from extinction even as we wish to spare them from brutality, torture and wanton murder. This is not a simple on/off switch but inch by inch we are winning this battle.

Our voices are growing louder and perhaps more importantly they are coalescing. Among the voices you will hear from in our second film Land of the Free: OUT of the shadows, are none other than the legendary Dr Jane Goodall, Lt Gen Seretse Khama, President of Botswana 2008-2018, Priscilla Presley, Tippi Hedren, Cliff Simon, Eduardo Goncalves founder of the Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting UK, Sir Roger Gale MP, Virginia McKenna OBE star of the immortal classic "Born Free" and founder of the Born Free Foundation, Will Travers OBE President of the Born Free Foundation, 2019 Albert Schweitzer Award recipient John Thompson from Washington DC, Meryl Harrison the former Chief Inspector with the Zimbabwe SPCA, indigenous rangers, vets and activists on the ground in Uganda and South Africa, a special guest appearance by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and footage from inside a parliamentary evidentiary hearing courtesy of the Parliamentary Recording Unit UK.
