Documentary of 1977 that talks about the life of the gamines in the city of Bogotá.

The gamines are children who have fled their homes in remote areas of the city or living in neighbouring districts of it and trying to survive.

The film is based on three segments showing the gamines mostly displaced in the violence and their families, to live on handouts of persons, of the theft of windshield, car radios, recycling cardboard and stealing several streets but above all of the pure Centre of Bogotá to the gamines grouped in "galladas" sleep on platforms, bus stops and in the now defunct "Calle del Cartucho".
