Ive never read the originals. Although I absolutely hated the show, Im thinking I might try to read it. I found Derrik especially awful. I have never seen worse chemistry between anyone. I cant blame her. That is NOT A GOOD LOOKING GUY! He has an ugly square face. Blargh. But as soon as I saw him I knew she was going to fall in love with him, because he is a black dude, and therefore in Hollywood he is the superior. Don't deny it. Anyhow..... I already knew how the story would wrap up at that point, just by knowing Hollywood politics.
AWFUL acting. Annoying swap casting, but we know to expect it. OMG, they barely know how to read lines. And Im pretty sure they are trying to fake a British accent, but why? They are in America? UGH! Why?
