Epic scifi brought by a masterclass in acting by those involved and storytelling brought by writers who seemed to be let of their leashes to go wild with their ideas. Amazingly brought to life by unbelievably skilled technicians in computer animation and green screening. It's such a rare show that seems willing to let those who have expectations of Ragnarok light hearted comedy and meeting expectations of the public at large, fans or not. This is not for everyone, the exposure of the darkness of human nature in a way that finds redemption of reality a near impossibility and only saved by a self anointed heel and bad guy who sees a future so bleak he sacrifices himself for what looks like eternity for the future of those who in some.ways may not deserve it but whom also shouldn't be judged by the worst of them. Loki is essentially tortured into being the good guy by a guy who doesn't care about anything and relishes the idea of chaos and an eternity of darkness. Female Loki is done and is even more angry and devious than our Loki, a straight murder with no pity or care for the destruction she brings in unknowing people in an effort to bring some form of reprisal to those who took her life away. Her life ends up costing hundreds of murders, and in the end doesn't matter as the man at the end is untouchable.

A spectacular scifi by any standards, unbelievable effects. A rare show where each episode is worth watching several times. This show has really has take a place in my heart, the way Star Trek TNG does to a greater degree. Not sure how this equation works but writing, acting, effects and music all come together to work. Owen Wilson is a big deal here, as big as Hiddleston, it wouldn't have worked without him.
