Missing in this episode are the lead, Joel, the second lead, Maggie, as well as Marilyn, Joel's receptionist. Instead, this is Maurice's and Holling's episode, taking us back to their pasts and their close friend who has died. The VO of Chris reading from Call of the Wild and White Fang as the two men's adventure unfolds and we see the rugged countryside makes this an absolutely wonderful, unique episode of a unique series. We learn more about these two characters and their relationship with each other than in a multitude of earlier episodes. If you can only see a few episodes of this series, make this one of them.
